Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday night, November 12th to canvass election results, discuss their learning model, and other matters.
The current 14-day COVID-19 positivity rate that schools use as a benchmark for their learning models is at 191 according to the latest data from the Department of Health. While the Fertile-Beltrami School has been relatively lucky when it comes to cases in the school district, Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says with the way things are trending, parents should be aware that it’s likely they make a change to their learning model in the near future.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board moved their regular meeting back to Thursday instead of Tuesday in order to canvass their election results. Clarke says the incumbents were all successful in their reelection this year.
Also at this month’s meeting, the board accepted a number of grants from the Fertile-Beltrami Education Foundation, which Superintendent Clarke notes has been a great asset for the district over the years.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board also approved winter coaching contracts.
