Brainerd Schools Update With Superintendent Laine Larson 11-13-20
By: Ben Aberg email@example.com (11/13/20)
Brainerd, MN — Following a letter sent earlier this week detailing a change of learning model from early learning through fourth grade, we recapped our last update with Superintendent Larson.
Plans were made this week to add younger students to the distance learning model. Wednesday, all will be distance learning.
Emergency care will once again be available for the young students, with academic support, weekdays 7:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m.
How about food service and meals for students who would be normally fed at school?
The news came Thursday that the varsity football team had a case of COVID-19. After the football season was cancelled for the remainder of 2020, the Board discussed the plan for other activities.
We thank Superintendent Larson for her time; hear the full interview below.
