(Crosby, MN) — The Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce Downtown Committee is scheduling their next meeting to be held Tuesday, November 24th from the Forum Room of Crosby-Ironton High School at 5:30pm.
The Committee, concerning the 2021 Highway 210 Construction Project running right through Crosby, will have a guest speaker for this meeting. Little Falls Chamber of Commerce CEO/President Deb Boelz will review how her Chamber went under a similar situation with construction of 1.3 miles of Highway 27 from April until October of 2019. She will also talk about how to best support businesses and the overall community, which the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber plans on implementing in the near future.
The Chamber also plans on applying for the IRRRB’s Downtown Streetscapes grant for up to $50,000 with a 1:1 match, which would include improvements to the downtown area to promoting safe and attractive environment for residents, shoppers, workers, and visitors before, during, and after the Highway 210 Construction project.
Space is limited to 14 attendees for the Downtown Committee meeting on November 24th. Be sure to RSVP to Executive Director Brielle Bredsten by email to accommodate proper social distancing.
