(Crow Wing County, MN) — Crow Wing County offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day, and the Highway Maintenance Department will be working on numerous projects with winter weather becoming more prevalent.
County maintenance crews will be performing ditch cleaning operations on County Road 132 in Platte Lake Township and County Road 144 near Butternut Road. Crews will also be removing brush and doing nuisance tree removal along CSAH 22 in Long Lake and Maple Grove Townships and County Road 105 in Ross Lake Township throughout the week.
Pothole patching on various county roads will be done during the week by county maintenance crews, which will create the need to close one or more lanes of traffic with crews pulling over and stopping frequently on the shoulders of the roads. Loose patching material debris may be present from this process.
County snowplows are also prepared and ready if the snow or ice conditions are present. All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change.
