Today in America, political races from presidential to city council are in the hands of the voters. Ahead of tonight’s LIVE KSDM election coverage (8p-12a), the KSDM crew was live at several polling locations around International Falls, Ranier, and Koochiching County.

This morning, Mike Bolstad took to St. Thomas Aquinas and spoke with the Schmidts, who had just cast their ballots.

Mike Bolstad then went live at the Union Hall, downtown International Falls with Renesha Saari.

Between 8:30am to 10am, the Union Hall had jumped from 16 votes to well over 200. Kris Norton spoke to an International Falls voter named Ray.

While most voters kept their selections close to the vest, Duane Etienne caught up with one resident who was happy to share about his full experience.

During News At The Noon Hour, Mike Bolstad reported total vote tallies from Ranier.

Full election night coverage can be heard on KSDM Tuesday night from 8pm to midnight with Duane Etienne and Mike Bolstad.
