Erskine, MN — Plenty of area schools have had to adjust their learning models this year because of rising covid case numbers. In Polk County, numbers have gone up slightly but not enough for schools like Win E Mac to change their learning model and cancel activities. The Patriot Football Team had a rematch against Mountain Lake-Area last Saturday, the team they faced off with in the State 9-Man Semifinal Round last year and the volleyball played an excellent game defeating Ada/Borup-West a few nights ago. Win E Mac Principal Kevin McKeever says both games were a great opportunity for teams to play.

Principal McKeever also wants to remind and update everyone on the covid situation at Win E Mac reminding everyone to remember what the ultimate goal is so kids can stay in school and continue with activities.

There are homecoming activities happening next week as well and Principal McKeever also recognizes the students who are in different groups and activites within the school that don’t get as much public attention as other activities do such as National Honors Society.

You can listen to Principal McKeever during the Win E Mac School News every Thursday at 2:05 p.m. on KKCQ Radio and online at rjbroadcasting.com.
