City of Hill City reiterates Mask Wearing, changes schedule at October 27th meeting

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council heard from First Responders, adjusted their meeting schedules, and reviewed land purchases during their regular meeting from Tuesday night.
Hill City Mayor Dan Kingsley touched on the Personnel Policy and CIP from the Work Session.
During the regular meeting, the Council approved advertising for the opening of the City Clerk position.
The City of Hill City updated their Snowplow policy and approved the Hill City Fire Association retirement level up to $1,200. Purchases were also approved through CARES Act Funds.
Mayor Kingsley updated the Council on the City’s stance on wearing masks.
Pine Street is also going through a County Tax Forfeit process.
The Council approved a letter for residents to vacate if violating City ordinances for those living in RV’s on City lots. An $11,125 grant application to Operation Round Up was also approved by the Council. Changes to the upcoming meeting schedule also took place.
The City of Hill City Council is next scheduled to meet on Tuesday, November 10th from the Hill City Fire Hall.
