Clearbrook, MN — The Clearbrook-Gonvick school board held a special meeting a few nights ago to discuss how they are going to move forward with their learning model with a rise in positive covid cases in Clearwater County. School Superintendent Jeff Burgess says they have made the decision to move to distance learning beginning on November 2nd.
An unfortunate struggle that is occurring for many schools is a shortage in staff. Burgess says their doing okay with their staff numbers at Clearbrook-Gonvick however, the issue is when staff members get sick, they have to be out of the building for 10-14 days as opposed to a normal year when they would just be out for a few days.
For the week of November 2nd-6th all activities will be cancelled at the Clearbrook-Gonvick School.
