Ada, MN — All signs are pointing to a rather unique Halloween this year. Not only does Halloween fall on a Saturday, but also on a full moon and during a global pandemic, nonetheless. Many communities are doing COVID Friendly Trunk-or-Treating this year, which may cut down on the number of door-to-door trick-or-treaters, but for those who are, Ada Police Chief Jody Bueng encourages kids to watch for traffic and motorists to be on the lookout for pedestrians.

For the adults who plan on celebrating Halloween with alcohol, Chief Bueng says law enforcement will be out patrolling the streets and he encourages them to find a safe ride home.

The Trunk-and-Treat event that was scheduled for this Saturday in Ada has been cancelled due to rising COVID-19 concerns.
