Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences Go Well At Win E Mac

Erskine, MN — Parent/teacher conferences is a day on the calendar that you don’t typically think to much of. Parents come into the school, they visit with their children’s teachers and teachers provide feedback to the parents about how their child is doing. Now, in the odd year of 2020, a decision had to be made on how conferences would play out. With county covid case numbers on the rise the Win E Mac school made the decision to hold conferences virtually. A decision that Principal Kevin McKeever says still resulted in a good turnout.
The virtual conferences also gave parents the opportunity to see how the ZOOM meetings work if they haven’t already and if there is any positive to all of the ZOOM meetings taking place it’s that schools are able to experience and consider using virtual styles during a normal school year.
The first round of parent/teacher conferences took place a few weeks before the end of the 1st quarter which is November 6th and the 2nd round of conferences will happen in February.
