ISD 361 Fall Update with Superintendent Kevin Grover
By Kris Norton (10/26/2020), Kris@ksdmradio.com
ISD 361 Superintendent Kevin Grover joined The Morning Show Tuesday to update the Borderland on how school has proceeded through new COVID-related protocols and regulations. Grover added that with taking on new responsibilities and a changing workday, students, teachers, and school workers may be more susceptible to fatigue.
Grover acknowledges the increased workload for teachers and students, and says, in terms of remedying or reducing stress levels, they’re “not going to take anything off the table.”
With other school districts looking to early releases for the same reason, Grover sees potential complications for child care arrangements.
With coronavirus case numbers rising throughout the state, Grover says that staff is keeping a close eye on case numbers and the recommendations set by Governor Tim Walz.
