WRWD to Hold Public Hearing on One Watershed One Plan

Ada, MN — The Wild Rice Watershed District has moved next month’s regular meeting up one week to November 4th as their usual date would have conflicted with Veteran’s Day. The meeting, which is typically held via a combination of in-person, teleconference, and virtually through the Teams app, will also include a public hearing of their One Watershed One Plan, which is a comprehensive water management plan for the watershed. Kevin Ruud with the Wild Rice Watershed District says they just wrapped up the review process, which went relatively smoothly, and now they are in the final stages of approval.
You can view the full Wild Rice Watershed One Watershed One Plan on their website, www.wildricewatershed.org, as well as find information on how to attend the public hearing.
