Mahnomen, MN — The White Earth Reservation is also seeing a rise in COVID-19 cases recently. As of Wednesday morning, there are currently 22 active cases on the reservation and is currently averaging 29 new cases a week. As the pandemic goes on, White Earth Emergency Operations Incident Commander Ed Snetsinger says people appear to be letting their guard down. He encourages everyone to be vigilant, stay positive, and think about whether or not their actions are safe or necessary.

Snetsinger says as we move towards winter, getting people tested is becoming more of a challenge, but he strongly encourages anyone who is feeling symptoms to line up a test.

Snetsinger encourages those on the reservation to visit with White Earth Nation Facebook page for updated testing times and sites as well as other important community information. You can also call the One Call Center at 1-833-989-2873 for any COVID-19 related question.
