Barnesville, MN — The Barnesville City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, October 12th. At the meeting, they discussed the Del Acres Third Addition, the city’s latest housing development. Barnesville Mayor Jason Rick says the development is now complete and ready for houses to be built.

Residential lots in the Third Addition start at $12,000 plus assessments. Contact the Barnesville EDA for more information on lot sizes and prices. The new addition comes at a good time, as all the lots in the Del Acres Second Addition are now sold out.

Mayor Ricks also reminds Barnesville business owners that the city does have a CARES program for homebased businesses and that interested parties should apply.

And this month’s city council was held in person for the first time since March. Mayor Ricks adds that it was nice to finally conduct business in person again.

The Barnesville City Council accepted the resignation of their Public Works Director.
