(Brainerd, MN) — Central Lakes College Performing Arts and Brainerd Community Theater are teaming up once again for virtual performances of “Scotland Road” beginning November 4th.
The story follows Jeffrey Hatcher’s “Scotland Road” and the events of a Norwegian fishing boat in the Northern Atlantic in 1992 coming up to a young woman who survived the sinking of the Titanic. According to play director Patrick Spradlin, “this play is a mixture of mystery, science fiction, and psychology.”
All members of the play are working to make this production happen, given the circumstances of COVID-19, BCT has not been able to rehearse or perform in their theatre space. The virtual show will be shot from the Chalberg Theater on the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College, with the final version to be streamed on a private online channel.
For patrons wishing to view, instead of buying a ticket for a theater seat, viewers will purchase a secure link to the streamed performance running November 4-7. Contact the CLC Theatre Box Office to purchase the link. Phone sales are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm at 218-855-8199.
