Polk County To Receive CARES Act Relief In The Near Future

Polk County, MN — The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump back on March 27th and is a commitment to protecting the American people from the public health and economic impacts of COVID-19. Polk County is just now going to be getting a portion of that relief in the very near future in the dollar amount of $3.9 million dollars. Polk County Commissioner Joan Lee was on Food For Thought to discuss how the county would distribute the relief package.
